Where your money is

Hidden holds crypto payments: they go through our checkout into accounts we control, and each confirmed sale is credited to your store's balance until you withdraw it. Manual methods such as PayPal and Wise are paid straight to your own account, and we never hold that money. This page lists what we guarantee about that money today, and what we do not. Every guarantee links to where it is written.

How the money moves

  1. 1

    A buyer pays in crypto

The payment goes through our checkout into accounts we control. You never need a processor account of your own.

  2. 2

    Your store is credited

Once the network confirms, the net amount lands in that store's balance, with the fee recorded on the order.

  3. 3

    You withdraw

USDT (BEP20) goes to the wallet address you saved, with the transaction hash in your history.

Manual methods such as PayPal and Wise work differently. The buyer pays your own account and sends proof, and you confirm the payment. Hidden never holds that money. Only the platform fee is recorded: it is taken from your store balance, and if that takes the balance below zero, you settle it as a small fee balance (Terms: payments and fees).

Guarantees

What we guarantee today

Six commitments, each one already true in the product or written into the Terms.

  • A balance for every store

Each store has its own balance in USD terms. Every confirmed crypto or store balance sale credits its net amount. A manual payment such as PayPal or Wise goes to your own account, so only its platform fee is taken from the balance. Every order keeps its fee rate, the fee and what you received. Your Wallet page shows the balance, what is on its way out and every withdrawal with its on-chain transaction.

  • Withdraw to your own wallet

Request a withdrawal whenever you like, to the USDT (BEP20) address you saved. The minimum is $1.00 and a flat $0.50 network fee is shown before you confirm. Only the owner can change the address, with two-factor when it is on, and the owner is emailed about every change.

  • No fees for holding money

No dormancy, inactivity or balance fees. A balance is never lent or invested. The only fee on your money is the flat $0.50 per withdrawal.

  • 30 days' notice before we close

If we ever decide to close Hidden, every store owner gets an email, and this site shows a notice, at least 30 days before checkout closes. You can withdraw as usual during that time and for at least 30 days after. If a law, a court or a regulator forces an earlier stop, we give as much notice as we are allowed to. Stores under investigation or a legal order follow the usual rules.

  • A reason and a person behind any pause

Withdrawals on a store are paused only while it is under investigation, suspended, subject to a legal order or showing signs of fraud. The owner is emailed the reason unless a legal order forbids it, sales keep being credited, and every appeal is reviewed by a person.

  • Your data as CSV, any time

Download your products, orders, customers and withdrawals as CSV files yourself, whenever you want, including before you close a store. The owner can also export license key pools, confirmed with two-factor when it is on.

Plainly

What we do not promise

  • We hold your balance until you withdraw it. Crypto payments go into accounts we control, not into your own wallet. Manual methods such as PayPal and Wise are paid to your own account, so we never hold that money. If you need a platform that never holds funds, a non-custodial one fits better; see how we compare.
  • We do not promise instant or automatic payouts. A withdrawal can wait in a short review queue, normally completed within one business day (Terms: withdrawals).
  • We can pause withdrawals platform-wide during a security incident, for as short a time as we can, and we say so on this site while it lasts (Security: payments and payouts).
  • Money from prohibited sales can be withheld, as can funds under a valid legal order. The Terms list what is prohibited (Terms: enforcement).
  • Hidden is not a bank. Balances are not deposits, earn no interest and are not insured (Terms: custodial settlement).

Questions

Money questions, answered

The Terms commit us to email every store owner and post a notice at least 30 days before checkout closes. Withdrawals stay open during that time and for at least 30 days after, so you can take your balance out. If a law, a court or a regulator forces an earlier stop, we give as much notice as we are allowed to, and stores under investigation or a legal order follow the usual rules.

For one store: while it is under investigation, suspended, subject to a legal order or showing signs of fraud, and the owner is emailed the reason unless a legal order forbids it. For everyone: briefly during a security incident, with a notice on this site.

It is what lets any seller take crypto with no processor account, no setup and one fee, and it lets refunds go straight to a buyer's store balance. The trade-off is custody, which is why the guarantees above exist. We only hold crypto and store balance payments. Manual methods such as PayPal and Wise are paid straight to your own account.

Yes. In your dashboard, Products, Import and export downloads your products, orders, customers and withdrawals as CSV whenever you want, and the owner can export license key pools too.

Open a free store, bring your catalogue in with the CSV importer (it reads SellAuth, Sell.app and Sellpass or Billgang exports) or recreate it, then claim the switch offer from Billing: 3 months of Pro free once a person has checked the claim.
